Закончил с отличием Художественно-Графический Факультет НТГПИ (Нижнетагильский Государственный Педагогический Институт)в 1991 г. Участник художественный выставок с 1989 года. Работы находятся в частных коллекциях в России и за рубежом. С 1999 года проживает в Канаде.


Vladimir Frolov was born and educated in Russia. He resides in Canada since 1999. He holds a Master's Degree in Fine Arts and Teaching (MFA/M.Ed.) he had completed with distinction in 1984-1991 from Nizhny Tagil State Pedagogical University. He participated in many juried art exhibitions and has his art works collected by private collectors in Canada, USA, Germany and Russia. He is a member of Arts Ottawa East Council (AOE), Canada.

Artist Statement.

"I see my art as a free spiritual experience that is constantly changing and evolving. Nothing is permanent. Everything , every life experience is constantly modified by events around us. Every moment brings a new experience and as humans we adapt an adjust to what we have learned.

My paintings are mostly based on emotions and structure energy of an object I paint. I see this energy as a combination of colors and textures. It could be a landscape or just anything recognizable or something absolutely abstract, some ideas or thoughts..."
